Ordnance Survey Mapping Route Statistics
|Distance (Miles)||Distance (KM)||Ascent (Feet)||Ascent (Metres)|
|100 Miles||161 Km||9829 Feet||2996m|
We have used Ordnance Survey Mapping to accurately measure the route distance and ascent. We tested many other systems including Strava, Google Maps, Mapometer and Garmin which all produced different results. The Mapometer map below has been produced as guide for participants to follow when training on the route but the distances suggested by Mapometer should not be relied on. The most accurate distances are given above.
Please note that as for 2016, the route in 2017 actually does goes through the centre of Dufftown. (The Ordnance Survey route shows the original route which bypassed Dufftown.)
